DIRECTIONS TO FIELDS

 

1. WARREN POINT I & 2 (FAIR LAWN):

Located near Route 4 (Broadway). From Teaneck (westbound) go west on Route 4 past JackDaniels Porsche-Audi to the Plaza Road exit. Use the jug handle to cross Route 4 at Plaza Road and continue south one block. Turn left. The fields will be two blocks ahead on vour right. If going eastbound on Route ·J. turn right at Plaza Road, then make first left turnand proceed to fields,

 

2. TJ (Thomas Jefferson Middle School) (FAIR LAWN):

Located just off Morlot Ave. From Route 208 north, take Morlot Ave. exit eastbound. From 208 South, exit at Plaza Rd,turn right at foot of ramp, then left at traffic light onto Morlot Ave. eastbound.Proceed about 4 blocks past route 208, and the school will be on your left. Turn left just past the parking lot and proceed along the driveway. The field is elevated above the roadway at the back of the park area to the left.

 

3. WESTMORELAND (FAIR LAWN):

Located off River Road behind Shop Rite. Proceed north on River Road past Fair Lawn Avenue to Richard Street djust before Shop Rite shopping center). Turn right into Richard Street and go to the end; field is in front of you.

 

4. FORREST (FAIR LAWN):

Located up a dead end street off Berdan Avenue. Travel to 1Morlot Avenue westbound as above, then turn right at 12th Street. Go north on 12th Street to stop sign at Berdan Avenue. Turn left, go one block, then turn right on Roosevelt. Field is at end of dead end street. You may also use Berdan Avenue eastbound from River Road to the same place. If you are coming southbound on Route 208, exit at Berdan Ave. just past Fair Lawn Ave. exit), turn right at the foot of the ramp, and go west on Berdan Ave. to Roosevelt P1.

 

5. BERDAN GROVE (FAIR LAWN):

Off of Berdan Rd. . Take Rt 208 to Plaza Rd.If coming from north, Berdan Ave is straight ahead. If coming from south,make left at light, make first right on to Berdan Ave. Field is on right.

 

MACKAY PARK (ENGLEWOOD):

Exit Route 4 in Englewood at Grand Ave. and follow Grand north to Englewood Ave. Go left and proceed across RR tracks about ~1 mile and Mackay Park is on the left. Enter the parking area. The ballfield is ahead and to the right on the far side of a low berm.

 

TRYON (ENGLEWOOD):

Exit Route 4 at Teaneck Road north. Proceed north to Tryon Ave. and turn right. Bear left where Liberty forks off Tryon and remain on Tryon until you see the park on your right, opposite the middle school,

 

OAKLAND

Take I-287 south or Route 208 north (becomes I-287 south) to Oakland. Exit on Route 202 south..Make left turn at exit. Follow Route 202 (Ramapo Valley Rd.) to Oak St., turn right, and follow Oak St. down the hill. Fields are on your left.

 

BERGENFIELD(HICKORY)

Route 4 to Teaneck Road NORTH into Bergenfield, road name changes to Washington Avenue. Go through town and turn RIGHT onto Hickory Ave.

SCHMIDT FIELD (Fair Lawn):

Schmidt Field is located at the Passaic River behind the Memorial Middle School.   From Route 208 North, exit at Morlot Avenue westbound.  Cross back over 208, go past traffic light at Plaza Rd., cross railroad tracks, proceed to River Road.   Turn right onto River Road and go north to Berdan Ave. (traffic light).  Turn left and go all the way to the end.  The road curves sharply to the right and you come to a small traffic circle with the school straight ahead of you.  Go around the circle and onto the Avenue of Heroes.  Turn right into the parking lot.  Schmidt Field is at the left of the parking lot, fenced in.

From 208 south, exit onto Berdan Ave. (just past Fair Lawn Ave.) and turn right at the foot of the ramp.  Stay on Berdan Ave. across River Road, then proceed as above.

From Route 20, cross the Morlot Avenue Bridge into Fair Lawn, then go left onto Canger Pl.   Cross large circle next to Recreation & Parks area and turn Right onto the Avenue of Heroes.  Field will be on your left.  Turn left into parking lot behind school.
